Send off Dinner

I traveled south from Mt Shasta with my niece Erika to join many family members in Folsom for a send off dinner. When traveling Space A, it is the people on the receving end that deal with all the flexibility. In this case it was my brother Thor who arranged all. and his wife Joyce that put together a terrific dinner. We had a great dinner, wacthed the Lakers defeat the Celtics in Game 7 and toasted the high seas. Family present included Aunt Dorothy, cousins Carolyn and Jim Wilson, Thor and Joyce Lude, Erika Tuminelli, and Steve and Hilary Harvey. All of this would not be possible without the last minute miracle coordination efforts that my brother Thor performed. Thanks bro!

So here I sit at the travis AFB terminal waiting for a 0410 show time for a KC-10 headin' to HI. 10 years ago I was on the crew of such a flight. Now...an old retired bastered traveling space A. Think they will give me the landing? Oh how I miss the flying. But that said, I am tired and look forward to the zzzzzz's.

Chris (captain of the boat) is flying from Seattle to Maui tomorrow. I should get to Maui at about the same time, so logistics on the front end are working out well.

Cheers,
CAL
